The Company:

We are currently working with a global travel business that has developed an exceptional customer base over the past 25 years. They are moving from strength to strength and having recently recruited a number of key individuals into their digital team to develop their web strategy, they aim to redefine “best in class” within the travel sector!

The Role:

As the Digital Optimisation Manager you will be responsible for improving the customer journey and website performance - being at the core of a test and learn culture within the company.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and control A/B and multivariate test programmes and report on success, as well as manage iterations of such programmes. Be known as the expert for A/B testing and MVT and encourage engagement with it within the company.
  • Own the entire testing process from scoping out requirements, collating technical specifications, developing and executing the tests, analyzing their performance, making recommendations for site developments based on learnings from the MVT process and updating the CRO roadmap.
  • Develop understanding of digital customer journeys and recommend which tools we should integrate in order to understand and improve this journey.
  • Manage landing page strategy, through wireframing, designing & testing new ideas.
  • Be able to execute in-depth analysis into specific products, promotions and landing pages to deliver succinct, meaningful insights and actionable data. Recommend resolution to key site conversion issues as they arise.
  • Analyse and interpret site usage data and trends through rich and deep data analysis, consumer research (quantitative & qualitative), usability studies to identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Communicate findings, evangelise and encourage engagement around CRO across stakeholders and at senior management level through presentation, workshops, updated MVT roadmap, etc.
  • Work closely with UX, Design, Production, Web Analytics, CRM teams, etc. to scope out tests, document requirements, create hypotheses, develop variations to test, build tests and thoroughly QA them.

The Person:

We’re looking for candidates with a strong track-record of operating within a Digital Optimisation role – client or agency-side. This role requires an analytical mind, with the ability to understand and act on website data. You will also have an expert knowledge of the key technologies required to analyse, test and optimise customer journeys, as well as a strong understanding of online marketing and web analytics.
