They offer many of the same services as regular banks, but as a Building Society, they reinvest more of their profits to improve the products and services they offer. By 2017, their members and employees will have helped decide how they invest £15 million to support local communities. They have recently been voted as the 6th best company to work for in the UK.
As a nationally recognised brand, they are reknowned for their exceptional levels of customer service. They were keen to embrace the digital world early and were tasked with a complete overhaul of their digital infrastructure. Their main challenges in recruitment were their office locations and the perception of the Financial Services market, following the recession. They were looking to scale up quickly and recruit a high number of digital channel specalists with industry-specific experience.
How we helped:
Working closely with the Director of Digital and Internal Recruitment teams on a retained basis, we scoped out potential talent and advised on how to attract candidates with relocation packages. We proactively headhunted a number of key individuals, putting in the initial framework of the Digital Channels team.
Since 2010, we have successfully filled 28 roles, specifically within their digital channels team.
