The Company:

Our client is one of the world’s leading information services businesses who provide various data and analytical services to both the B2C and B2B markets in almost 100 countries. They currently own and operate a number of market leading products which they are constantly developing and improving. As part of their continued expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to help generate new strategic partnership opportunities. This role sits within the marketing team, but is purely sales focused.

The Role:

As the Business Development Executive, you will identify and close new partnerships to drive sales of consumer products, whilst managing and growing these partners until handed over.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify, contact and win new commercial strategic affinity partnerships to achieve individual targets and business objectives
  • Manage the end to end process for strategic partner wins, implementation and campaign management
  • Negotiation of commercials for new contracts and renewals with top tier partners and strategic wins
  • Implement and account manage new business opportunities and establish into a long term sustainable partnerships
  • Leverage internal relationships to acquire new partnerships
  • Develop and execute partnership marketing plans to deliver on business objectives
  • Manage and report on channel budget, forecasting and planning
  • Evaluation of partner activity weekly and monthly

The Person:

We’re looking for a SPIN-trained sales expert, with a solid understanding of the Digital Marketing/E-Commerce sectors. You may either have worked within a digital agency, selling to prospective clients or possibly within an in-house environment selling to potential partners. You must have a strong contact list and have the ability to generate your own leads. Excellent networking skills are imperative, as is the ability to communicate clearly. Fluent English-language skills are essential.
