The Company:

Our client is one of the world’s leading information services businesses who provide various data and analytical services in both the B2C and B2B markets in almost 100 countries. They currently own and operate a number of market leading products which they are constantly developing and improving. We are working on their behalf to find a talented Digital Account Manager, who will assist partners/clients in driving online revenue through improving customer acquisition.

The Role:

The Digital Account Manager role is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and be a major part of the company’s continuing growth and success. Reporting to the Head of Client Services, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic clients in the Financial Services sector, with £1m+ in annual revenue.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing and co-ordinating strategic client relationships.
  • Building client-specific Account Plans including managing product and marketing roadmaps and executing on opportunities.
  • Facilitating regular client meetings and reviews and maintaining client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Co-ordinating internal stakeholders for the successful management of the partnership (Service Delivery, Operations, Product Management, Customer Management, Design, etc.)
  • Optimising sales, marketing and product initiatives for increased acquisition revenue, reduced churn, improved customer engagement and better customer experience.
  • Commissioning and analysing consumer research and using analytics to improve customer understanding and driving partnership enhancements.
  • Managing contracts’ renewals and negotiating new contracts for current partners.
  • Working with Finance to provide accurate forecasting of revenue and costs for each partner.
  • Monitoring competitor activity and providing update reports to Senior Management on client opportunities and market trends.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices both online and offline.

The Person:

We’re ideally looking for a Digital Account Manager from an agency background, ready to move client-side and with an interest in/understanding of Financial Services. A broad understanding of marketing is essential, as is a strong track-record of delivering against targets. You will be very analytical, but comfortable within a client-facing environment. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a solid understanding of the UK marketplace.
