Supported by the industry’s highest-rated client services team, the cross-channel marketing business enables marketers to efficiently plan, execute, optimise and manage cross-channel marketing programmes.

They are currently going through a significant evolution as a result of a major acquisition. This purchase (and subsequent integration) has propelled them from one of the top email service providers, to one of largest cross channel marketing platform providers globally and is currently going through a phase of accelerated growth.

We are now looking for a high-quality Sales Manager to lead a talented team. 

The Role:

The Head of Business Development position is to inspire and develop a successful sales team of 6 salespeople.   

Having knowledge and experience of email, social and other digital marketing channels is imperative.

You will have the responsibility to ensure individuals are performing in role against agreed objectives and behaviours.  As a key part of the sales management team you will be required to contribute to the strategy and development of the sales plan for the business.

Experience and a track record of successfully managing large, complex, multi-million pound new business contracts is a pre requisite for this role. Following a deal review process and ensuring RFPs are co-ordinated with the necessary stakeholders around the business is also a key part of the role.

The Person:

We are looking for outstanding leadership qualities and a proven track record of success and stability. 

Your leadership skills will have been gained within complex SaaS based digital marketing technology environments where you will have developed and coached team members to an exceptional level of performance.

You will be able to demonstrate consistent delivery of results over an extended period of time. You will also possess excellent problem solving skills, thrive under pressure whilst maintaining a positive and professional approach at all times.

Salary: £85,000 - £90,000 + £5,000 car allowance + £100% OTE and benefits
