Our client is one of the world’s leading FTSE businesses who have performed at a phenomenal level over the last few years. They provide a range of digital marketing solutions into both the B2C and B2B markets in almost 100 countries.

The Digital Advertising Services business was born in January 2010 when the first deal was signed with one of the world’s largest media owners.  The strategic objective of this new venture is to enable the highly trusted and valued segmentation and classification expertise to be channelled into the digital and online environments. Additional significant partnerships have since been secured with major publishers and media owners allowing their data to be traded online, bringing synergy to major consumer organisations who place data and insights at the centre of their strategies.  The portfolio has extended its channel reach to cover Display, Real Time Bidding, TV, Mobile, Social and email.

The Role:

The Client Development Manager is a newly created position that where your primary objective is driving demand for digital display advertising and other Digital insight products within Media Agencies. You will also support the wider sales team with Direct to Advertiser opportunities, including a future Data Management Platform.
 
This is an exciting but challenging role as agencies can sometimes be challenging to deal with. It is important you can maintain a consistent approach, tempering excitement of new sales with some levels of caution. Developing strong and meaningful relationships takes time and patience so there is an expectation that being highly visible with the contacts, coupled with some repetition in educating clients will be a tough thing to do from a first meeting.

The good news is that they have what clients want data, so doors open easily.   

The Person:

We are looking for an exceptional candidate with experience of selling to UK media agencies, with a digital data, media owner or exchange background preferred. 

You should possess a robust understanding of the UK digital advertising market. It is imperative you can demonstrate a sound understanding of the media agency landscape and ideally be well connected across all major groups.

If you do not have prior working knowledge of media agencies your experience will not be considered for this role.

Salary: £45-000 - £50,000 + £5,000 car allowance + £20,000 bonus and benefits (Share Options)
