Sales Director – DACH

Their SaaS based Digital Marketing technology empowers marketers to create more personalised and engaging online customer experiences, resulting in stronger customer relationships and significantly higher conversion rates and profits.

Due to phenomenal success in 2013 culminating in a record Q3, they are now embarking on a major expansion programme to support the continued expected rapid growth in 2014.   

A key task will be to build out a strong DACH territory, with a significant focus on Germany. 

The objective of your role will be to drive sales by developing, identifying, and securing all relevant direct sale opportunities, primarily in tier 1 multi-channel retailers. You will partner with an Inside Sales Executive to strategically target pre identified accounts and maximise the potential from your territory. You will have fully qualified leads to follow up on and will be involved throughout the sales process from introduction, through to completion. 

The ideal candidate is someone who has experience selling to executives in the online divisions of Retail, Travel, Financial Services, Telecom, and/or major brand manufacturers.  The more experience you have with these organisations, the better.  The solutions are focused on merchandising optimisation, so a background in merchandising solutions/technology will be a plus. A background in selling or servicing online marketing or Ecommerce will also be a big plus, so selling solutions such as Web Analytics, Enterprise level E-Mail Solutions, Ecommerce  trading solutions and so on.   

 If you don’t have this background you will need to have the ability to learn these ropes quickly and bring a perspective that can easily be adapted.

Flexibility and a desire to constantly learn and push yourself are absolutely required to succeed in this fantastic company.

Salary: £60-£75k basic (possible flexibility) + 100% OTE + Excellent Benefits
