Mobile Product Manager

My client is one of the most exciting and hugely successful retailers in the UK.  With a truly global presence and entrepreneurial and innovative culture they are looking to continue their stellar growth into new markets. To help deliver this growth they are looking to hire a talented Mobile Product Manager to deliver significant improvements to their Mobile presence. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the mobile development plans, shaping the overall strategy, defining and prioritising business requirements and working with different business units to ensure successful delivery
• Identify, analyse and implement game changing mobile product innovations, generating new ideas and taking calculated risks.
• Drive a programme of continuous improvement to all mobile capabilities.
• Translate business objectives into product requirements, ensuring goals/milestones and committed dates are met and communicated.
• Take ownership of mobile UX, ensuring first class customer experience
• Drive innovation in the mobile space and deliver the next generation of mobile apps and sites, defining the vision and strategy at a senior level
• Agree on a release plan for each product set including clear decision points for scope reduction, risk management and change control processes
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to constantly monitor user feedback; participate in usability tests by providing requirements and often drive research sessions
• Develop, track & present routine and ad-hoc product performance updates, with the goal of improving conversion rates, number of orders, and average basket size; lead the forecasting and planning process for your product roadmap

You will be an obsessive, passionate and highly talented Product Manager with a demonstrable track record of building award winning mobile apps and products ideally in a B2C environment.  You will have exceptional influencing and stakeholder management skills and be comfortable operating at a senior level.  You will be a leader by nature with the ability to inspire and motivate those around you as well as having a deep knowledge of the mobile space, API and App development and the technology in it.  You will also have an innate understanding of what customers want, what makes for successful user experience and the technical knowledge to be able to deliver complex applications and products.
