Business Development Manager – Social Advertising

The world of Digital continues to expand and my client, who focus solely on social advertising were first to market and continue to develop and innovate ahead of the competition in this space. They have had significant business growth, backed by funding from a recent investment, a truly global brand. They offer the most comprehensive tool for developing, managing and maximising social advertising campaigns, the power to innovate. They are a pioneering business that partners with Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and have offices in the US and London.

This is a new role in the business where you will be expected to generate, develop and manage excellent relationships with pre-qualified, new business leads. You’ll be developing and managing revenue and relationships with established direct clients and agencies across a mix of agencies and direct clients across a number of different verticals.

Joining an ambitious and growing team you will be responsible for identifying new customers, delivering demonstrations, act as a liaison to and develop close relationships with your clients, spotting business opportunities and up-selling and cross selling where applicable. You will have full autonomy of your time and will be responsible for calling clients, booking appointments, visiting clients and managing your own diary.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with knowledge of the Digital Advertising industry, ideally with a strong Social Media focus. Experience of either client or agency environments will be accepted, the key is your knowledge and passion of online and social media. You must be comfortable generating new business as well as maintaining existing account relationships. You should be very commercially astute with a consultative sales approach and relaxed, yet focused demeanour.
